The clients acquired this property as part of a portfolio deal. This property was originally used as a spa and is in the commercial zoning area for downtown Winston Salem, NC. This specific zoning area also allows residential use, so after confirming everything with the zoning department the client decided to put in an offer to acquire this property so they could convert it into a swanky city style short-term rental (AirBnB).

This property was originally built in 1913 so it still has a ton of character including original brick. It was parceled out and made into a luxury condo right before the market crashed in 2006. Unfortunately, the condo never sold and sat vacant until the most previous owner acquired it to run her spa business out of, but the general renovations the client had to do were primarily cosmetic since most of the conversion was already done.
